Tradition, context & my journey
A personal journey into Kambo.
A little about what Kambo is, the path that brought me here, and what current research can and cannot tell us.
My story
From a turning point to the Amazon.
I first discovered Kambo around six years ago. In my own life, that experience became part of a turning point. I felt it helped me recognise old cycles and patterns, and it became part of my journey away from alcohol and drug use.
My passion led me to travel to the Amazon, where I met members of the Matsés people and learned more about the traditions connected with Kambo. I have now been a practitioner for over three years and have completed training with the Kambo Practitioner Alliance. I share this as my personal story, with respect for the Indigenous communities whose knowledge and traditions are part of this wider history.
I source all the Kambo I work with directly from Matsés community members in the Amazon. During my visit, I met members of the community and learned more about their relationship with this tradition.
My experience is personal. For me, Kambo became a key part of changing my life for the better, giving me purpose and goals to work towards. It truly changed my life. Start your Kambo journey today with a free consultation.
